Our Acceler8 silage inoculant was formulated specifically for creating optimal front-end fermentation. The blend of bacteria and enzymes help drive a quick PH drop while also reducing clostridial risk and the chance of butyric acid. A quick fermentation is proven to reduce dry matter losses, but it also has to be a quality fermentation with proper lactic acid to acetic acid ratios. Acceler8 supplies a combination of enzymes designed to produce sugars that fuel the fermentation while also improving fiber digestion in the final silage.

Our GENESIS silage inoculant was formulated specifically to improve starch availability to the cow quicker than your traditional LAB silage inoculants. In today's dairy economy it is not always possible to have an extra 6 months of corn silage sitting on your facility. By speeding up the availability of that starch grain to your cow, we are reducing the time required to hit optimum fermentation. This means you will not see as big nor as long of a milk loss when you start feeding green corn silage.

Our SUPREME silage inoculant was formulated specifically for both optimal fermentation as well as improved stability during feedout. We have found that the pairing of these specific bacteria and enzymes created a better ‘working environment’ within your silage. The LAB bacteria give you your fast PH drop for a quick, efficient fermentation; but are a better bug than others in creating optimal conditions for the Buchneri and Brevis to thrive. Because of this we are seeing as good, if not better results in yeast and mold growth inhibition.
STANDARD
Our STANDARD silage inoculant was formulated specifically for both optimal front-end fermentation as well as improved stability during feedout. This product contains the usual bacteria and enzymes that is standard within the inoculants offered in the market today. Clients see the biggest advantage with this product when dealing with dryer crops such as the wheatlage, triticale , and grasses that have a tendency to dry down extremely quick. When silages get dry, there is no better insurance policy against heating at feedout than STANDARD.

Phoenix organic is an ideal inoculant for all silages put up on today’s organic operation. The lactic acid bacteria selected for this product were chosen for their ability to help speed up the fermentation process which, in turn, helps reduce shrink through the retention of those simple sugars and carbohydrates that are consumed through an inefficient fermentation. The “kick starter” bacteria is most active in a pH of 6.7 – 5.5. Whe then chose our “closer” bacteria that drives the pH from that 5.5 down to around a 4.0, which is ideal in all silages. Phoenix Organic is OMRI Listed Product number vag-7992.
